How to meet the correct photo requirements?

To avoid processing delays or issues with your Kuwait eVisa application, make sure your photo meets the requirements outlined below. 

Colour

• Submit a clear colour photo.
• The photo must have been taken within the last 6 months.
• Black-and-white photos will not be accepted.

Head Position and Background

• Keep your head centred in the photo.
• Use a plain white or clear background.
• Avoid patterns, objects, or shadows in the background.

Expression on Face and Appearance

• Keep a neutral face and mouth closed.
• Medical glasses are allowed if there is no glare.
• Religious head coverings are allowed.

Lighting

• Avoid photos that are too dark or too bright.
• Make sure your face is evenly visible without any shadows.
• When taking photos at home, use soft, natural light where possible.

Attire

• Wear decent clothing suitable for a Kuwait eVisa photo.
• The clothes must not have any patterns, designs, or prints.
• Wear clothes that stand out from the background and cover your shoulders and chest.

Accessories

• Remove jewellery and accessories before taking your Kuwait eVisa photo.

1. You may keep your hearing aid on if you wear it every day for medical reasons.

• Make sure the sheet is clean and smooth.
• Keep the background plain, with no patterns or objects.

• Always keep the baby’s eyes open when taking a photo.
• Remove the pacifier before taking the photo.
• Do not use hats, caps, or headwear.

• Keep the baby alone in the photo.
• Avoid holding or supporting the baby while taking the photo.
• Make sure no other person is visible.

1. Maintain the correct camera distance: Position the camera far enough away to capture your head and shoulders clearly.
2. Use even lighting: Natural light is ideal. Ensure your face is evenly lit and free from shadows, glare, or bright spots.
