No, GCC residents cannot work in Kuwait with an eVisa. To work, you must get a proper work visa through a Kuwaiti employer or the authorities.

Application Process of Kuwait eVisa for GCC Residents 

The process involves the following steps:

Step 1: Fill out the Application Form

Select your nationality and choose 'Tourist eVisa for GCC Resident' from the visa type drop-down menu.

Step 2: Upload Documents

Provide general, passport, and travel details, select a processing option, upload all required documents, and submit the application.

Step 3: Pay the Fee

Pay the visa fee using a credit/debit card or another accepted payment method. The applicant will receive a payment confirmation email.

Step 4: Receive Approved eVisa

The approved tourist eVisa for GCC residents will be delivered to the applicant's email ID.

Can I change my travel dates after applying?
If the travel date falls within the validity of the eVisa, no need to apply again; you can travel with an updated date. But if it falls outside, a new application is required. 

At the Port of Arrival 

  • Carrying a valid GCC residence permit is mandatory.
  • Present your passport, approved eVisa, and GCC residence permit. 
  • Receive the entry stamp from immigration.
